JACK D. HOSKINS

ASSOCIATE

Mr. Hoskins is an associate at the firm, which specializes in workers’ compensation defense. Mr. Hoskins has experience handling all aspects of workers’ compensation defense from inception through closure, including appellate work. In his 14 years specializing in workers’ compensation defense he has had multiple “take nothing” decisions and has defended 132a and Serious & Willful Misconduct cases.

In the earlier stages of his 25 year legal career Mr. Hoskins specialized in insurance defense litigation. He defended cases involving a multitude of fact scenarios that included automobile accidents, slip and falls, construction defect litigation, product liability, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death claims. During the course of his time in civil litigation he took several cases to jury trials and achieved multiple defense verdicts.

Mr. Hoskins is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law (J.D. 1991) and San Diego State University (B.S. 1988).

Mr. Hoskins strongly believes in client communication and will tailor his strategy to the client’s goals. He is always aware of litigation costs and will look for a chance to bring the case to closure at all stages, if at all possible.  However, he also understands that there are times when the only logical course of action is to take a case through trial.

Mr. Hoskins was admitted to practice in the State of California in 1992.
